Holy Trinity Seminary Welcomes Advent with Lessons and Carols

Schola Cantorum

Holy Trinity Seminary welcomed the start of Advent on Sunday by hosting Lessons and Carols.  It is an annual service that includes a series of readings from Holy Scripture and music proclaiming the story of the world’s need for a Savior, and God’s response in sending his Son.

Led by Music Director Dr. Gregrory Hamilton, the Holy Trinity Schola Cantorum was joined by over 150 community members from the Dallas/Fort Worth area including Most Reverend Mark Seitz, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas.  Also in attendance were members of area parishes, Serra clubs, HTS's Trinitarian Auxiliary and representatives from Young Catholic Professionals.
